Product

Midas Safety manufactures a diverse assortment of premium protective gloves including NFPA Certified Medical Gloves, Complex Design Chemical Resistant Gloves and our fascinating new line of Ninja® hand protection. Our gloves provide the protection, dexterity and comfort needed to achieve higher productivity and experience fewer injuries. Our gloves are used in a multitude of industries including automotive, medical, chemical, environmental, metal fabrication, food processing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, aerospace, plastics, pulp & paper, household and many more.

Manufacturing

We are continuously enhancing our manufacturing facilities to incorporate the newest technologies. Our Technical Staff and Research Team are constantly striving for new ways to improve existing products and to develop new innovative designs. Our commitments to manufacturing, research and development are reflected in our heavy investments in these areas. We have several manufacturing facilities located throughout South Asia. In addition, we have sourcing and technical offices located in China, India, Dubai and England.

Quality Systems

All of our manufacturing facilities are certified to ISO 9001: 2000. This stringent quality management system assures our customers of consistent high quality products. Our disposable glove factory is also certified to ISO 13488, which is a quality management system for Medical Devices.

Furthermore, several of our factories have obtained ISO 14001 for environmental management. We have earned a reputation in the market as a quality conscious manufacturer and we will continue to make every effort to maintain this status.

Product Certifications

All of our gloves are CE certified under the European Norms for Personal Protective Equipment. We can provide our customers with EC-Type Examination Certificates and test results for all of our products.

We produce several styles of disposable gloves that meet the FDA’s requirements for Class 1 Medical Devices/FDA 510(k) and we offer high-risk disposable gloves that are classified by Underwriter’s Laboratory, Inc. to NFPA 1999, Standard On Protective Clothing For Emergency Medical Operations, 2003 Edition. Furthermore, the vast majority of our products are made with component materials that comply with all relevant federal regulations for food contact.

Vertical Integration

In addition to having strong long-term relationships with all of our raw material suppliers, Midas Safety is vertically integrated to control our use of natural resources and to keep our costs as low as possible. Our state-of-the-art spinning mill transforms bales of raw cotton into fine yarns. We then knit and weave these yarns into fabrics for our gloves and glove liners. We also use these yarns in our machine knitting factories to produce seamless knitted gloves and glove shells for coated glove manufacturing.We are vertically integrated in our Natural Rubber usage as well.

Our Latex Centrifuge collects raw latex from local plantations and processes it for glove production. The Latex is then delivered to our disposable and supported glove factories.

Service

Midas Safety’s worldwide sales office is located in Toronto, Canada. Our office has a highly trained, knowledgeable staff that provides our customers with prompt, efficient and comprehensive service. Furthermore, we have Marketing Managers in the United States and Japan that provide sales support to our distributors.

Customer Driven Research & Development

The demand for specialized gloves for niche markets is growing rapidly. We work closely with our customers to develop hand protection solutions for specific applications. This might involve improving an existing style or working with you to create a new design.

Private Branding

Private branding is an instrumental component of our manufacturing strategy. We private label the vast majority of our production to our customer’s specifications. All of our factories are equipped with the latest automated ink stamping machines and we have in-house art departments that create negatives for the development of printing screens. Furthermore, we can create personalized hangtags, corrugated packaging and dispenser boxes to increase market exposure and establish brand recognition.
