Unsupported gloves are manufactured by dipping ceramic formers directly into protective polymers. Unsupported gloves incorporate the same polymers described under Supported gloves. Generally, unsupported gloves are available in palm thicknesses that range from 8 mils to 30 mils. A mil is 1/1000th of an inch. The grip patterns of unsupported gloves are embossed into the ceramic formers and transferred to the gloves themselves during curing. We offer a variety of grip patterns including Honeycomb, Diamond Embossed, Reverse Lozenge and Sand Patch. Unsupported gloves do not have fabric linings. However, they are sometimes lined with cotton flocking to absorb perspiration and provide comfort. Unsupported gloves provide excellent dexterity and chemical protection.
